W.T.F. Wednesday: That's a lot of dinosaurs

Welcome to a new feature here at the Post, in which once a week I'll share a panel or two from the Showcase Presents collection of The War That Time Forgot (the butchered "W.T.F." up in the title there). Believe me, the WTF is appropriate because seriously - WTF?!? Released a couple of months ago, The War That Time Forgot is prime Robert Kanigher nuttiness, answering the age-old question: What if soldiers during World War II had to fight dinosaurs, which have been freed from suspended animation deep below the surface of the Earth?

Just typing that out makes me grin like an idiot.

You know what else makes me happy? This:

EXTRA! EXTRA!

Man, Radio Shacks always look a little dumpy, don't they?

I think I actually have panels of this comic embedded in my memory somewhere from my childhood, though I don't actively recall the title at all. That is pretty badass stuff though. I used to love Radio Shacks, we call them "the Bomber Store" because that is apparently what the FBI calls them, some huge percentage of illegal homemade bomb detenators and timers in the US are fashioned primarily with parts from Radio Shack. My nerdy electronic engineer and musician uncle used to take me on trips to the Bomber Store with him as a kid and I loved looking at all the little transistors and circuits and boards they used to have. My uncle would solder his own boards for his guitar amps and shit. I was always incredibly impressed by that and at a young age learned to love the smell of melted lead.
